The CNC & Nesting Production Programmer is responsible for translating technical detail drawings into efficient and error-free production control. He/she ensures that CNC machines, panel saws and nesting installations are programmed optimally, and that each project follows the correct production route. In this role, he/she acts as a key link between the detailing department and the production floor.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret technical detail drawings and production files.
- Translate drawings into accurate CNC programs, cutting lists and nesting plans.
- Define and manage correct production routes so each component follows the appropriate manufacturing process.
- Optimise material usage and production efficiency through nesting software and CNC programming.
- Coordinate with the detailing department in case of ambiguities or technical issues.
- Prepare and manage digital production instructions for the workshop floor.
- Support machine operators during program setup and execution.
- Continuously improve working methods, production flow and standardisation.
Competencies and skills
- Strong technical insight into woodworking and custom interior/joinery production.
- Proven experience with CNC programming and nesting software is required.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and ERP production routing is an asset.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communicative and able to bridge office and workshop environments.
- Structured and results-driven, with a strong sense of deadlines.
