This summer, Obumex Knokke welcomes the work of Elias Van Orshaegen, a young Belgian talent whose practice is defined by material, form and the trace of the hand.
His objects move between art, design and sculpture. They carry weight, texture and presence, yet remain quiet in the way they inhabit a room. Each piece begins with a direct relationship to material and is shaped through a process in which making, intuition and control are closely connected.

Material, form and space
Placed within the Obumex showroom, the work enters a different context. It is no longer seen as a separate object, but as part of an interior atmosphere. With this exhibition, Obumex supports young Belgian talent and gives space to a new voice whose work reflects a shared sensitivity: respect for material, precision in form and the belief that objects can deepen the way we experience a space.
We invite you to discover Elias Van Orshaegen’s work up close in our Knokke showroom, from 15 August until 26 September.
