From 2 to 17 October 2026, Obumex Knokke welcomes Belgian designer-artist Delphine Cordie. In the exhibition Say It Anyway, she presents a new series of wall sculptures that carry the visual language of jewellery to an architectural scale.
Say It Anyway: Delphine Cordie
at Obumex Knokke
From jewellery to wall
Delphine Cordie began as a jewellery designer, and that background resonates in every piece. In her Ghent studio, which she shares with architect and designer Benoît Viaene, she assembles each work by hand. Stone, wood, metal and textiles come together with the precision of a goldsmith.
Small words, ample space
Say It Anyway explores the courage to speak sincerely, even when you cannot know how your words will be received. The titles of the works continue that conversation: I'm Listening, Go On, Take Your Time, I Might Be Wrong. Together they form a dialogue about the short phrases that bring people closer.
Art within an interior
In our Knokke showroom, the sculptures hang in a living environment. Here you can see how they relate to material, light and bespoke craftsmanship, as they will later do in a home.
